Mary Ann was born in Detroit, Michigan. She & her husband Doug will be married 34 years in December. Their son, Jason and his wife April live in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with their three beautiful children, Gunnar 7, Evelyn 6 and Lukas 3.
During her nine-and-a-half years in fine jewelry with Helzberg Diamonds, her annual sales ranged between $350,000 and $550,000, and she managed two of the Helzberg stores. Mary Ann is also credentialed as a Certified Diamontologist and as a Guild Gemologist.
When Doug retired after 38 years with Ford Motor Company in Michigan, they moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia.
It was here that Mary Ann wrote her low-fat Heart Healthy Cookbook "DELICIOUSLY WICKED YET GUILT FREE", published in 2004. Autographed copies are available from Mary Ann at $10 each. She also conducted a series of monthly cooking classes for the Virginia Beach Wellness Program.
Mary Ann is the 2010 President of the Complementary Health Education Organization of Greater Knoxville Area, and is Chair of the Membership and Directory committee for the 2011 – 2012 Print and Web directories.
Doug and Mary Ann are Reiki Masters, and Mary Ann is a Vibrational Sound Therapy practitioner using the SomaEnergetics Solfeggio Tuning Forks and Soma Body Tuners. These are tuned to the Ancient Solfeggio Scale based on the theory, verified by Quantum Physics Research, that all matter vibrates at a precise frequency therefore physical matter can be restored to perfect balance using resonant vibration. Mary Ann became an Ordained Minster with the Healing Angels Ministry in 2010.
Twice a week, Mary Ann teaches ZUMBA Gold for the "GET WITH IT" program in Loudon, TN. ZUMBA is an exercise class incorporating Exercise & Latin Dance steps to the beat of Latin Music. The one-hour classes are on Wednesdays and Saturdays in Loudon. Contact Mary Ann for details.
Doug & Mary Ann are Independent Business Owners with SUNRIDER , whose alkaline whole-food products have been developed from ancient Chinese Herbal formulas. These Life Enhancing formulas incorporate “the Philosophy of Regeneration” and work gently with the body to nourish, balance and cleanse. Doug and Mary Ann say they are “thrilled” with the results they have using these products and enjoy sharing this information with all interested parties.
